Network Consultant

We are looking for network consultants to join our world class technical team. Candidates should possess demonstrated hands on knowledge of heterogeneous LAN technologies and the ability to problem solve in a dynamic environment.

Position responsibilities:

• Providing on-site network management and support for a set of assigned customers.
• Recommending new technologies and solutions to proactively support clients’ environments.
• Establishing and maintaining networks, servers, and systems by designing, proactively managing, and troubleshooting network problem.
• Interfacing with clients and communicating with management.
• Ability to work well in a team or individually.
• Strong technical and problem solving skill.

For consideration, Mid-level candidates must have*:

• 3-5 years of related experience. See footnote below.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related field. See footnote below.
• Strong hands-on/practical experience with the following technologies: Windows Server 2008/2012, Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013, Small Business Server 2008/2011, Active Directory, Citrix, Blackberry Server, Firewalls (Sonicwall, Watchguard, etc.), DNS, DHCP, VMWare preferred.*
• Hands-on experience working with heterogeneous LAN technologies.*

For consideration, Senior-level candidates must have*:

• 5-7 years of related experience. See footnote below.
• A Bachelor’s degree and MCITP/MCSE or a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related field. See footnote below.
• Strong hands-on/practical experience with the following technologies: Windows Server 2008/2012, Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013, Small Business Server 2008/2011, Active Directory, Citrix, Blackberry Server, Firewalls (Sonicwall, Watchguard, etc.), DNS, DHCP, VMWare preferred.*
• Hands-on experience working with heterogeneous LAN technologies.*

*Note – In some cases, the following will be considered in place of minimum education and experience: unique education, specialized experience, skills, knowledge, training or certification; quality of experience; national recognition; exceptional Grade Point Average. Related experience may be substituted for education. Education and experience requirements will be determined by DP Solutions prior to hire.
